How to Swap Your HydroJug Sport Lid 32oz

Remove the Old Lid: Twist the old lid counterclockwise until it comes off the bottle. Set it aside or discard it. Check that the bottle threads are clean and free of debris before installing the new lid.
Align the New Lid: Place the new Sport Lid 32oz on top of the bottle, ensuring the threads line up. Do not force it. If the lid does not sit flush, remove it and realign. Forcing can damage the threads.
Tighten the Lid: Twist the lid clockwise until it is snug. Do not overtighten. Overtightening can crack the lid or strip the threads. A firm hand-tight is enough.
Test for Leaks: Fill the bottle with water, close the lid, and turn it upside down over a sink. Check for drips. If it leaks, remove the lid and reinstall carefully, making sure the gasket is seated properly.

Quick Answer

Swapping your HydroJug Sport Lid 32oz is a simple twist-off, twist-on process, but getting a perfect seal requires a few careful steps.

Why You Might Need to Swap the Lid

The Sport Lid 32oz is designed for active use, but over time the seal can wear or you might want a different color to match your style. Swapping is much cheaper than buying a new bottle.

Because the lid is precision-engineered for the HydroJug Sport Bottle 32oz, any third-party lid may not fit or seal correctly. Sticking with an official replacement ensures reliable performance.
